I've had my Ghibli for about three years now and it's been a dream to drive, but last week the engine warning light came on and it's been idling a bit rough ever since. I took it to a general garage in Mussafah and they charged me a small fortune just to clear the codes and told me it was probably a sensor issue, but the light came back on two days later so clearly they didn't actually fix the problem. I'm worried about the complex Italian electronics and don't want to keep throwing money at places that don't really understand these cars. I've heard that finding an exclusive Maserati specialist in Abu Dhabi who has the proper diagnostic equipment and knows the quirks of these engines is the only way to properly sort out these sorts of issues, rather than just guessing and replacing parts. Has anyone here had a similar experience with their Ghibli or Levante and can recommend a workshop that actually knows what they're doing with these cars? I really want to get this sorted properly before it turns into something more expensive.
